Wow Lisa, exciting stuff. I really like how this is developing. I was just talking with Jennifer W-T about my whole 2-D vs. 3-D inclinations; sort of an archaic vs. innovative or an intuition & application dilemma, but I guess I should be looking to you for inspiration (more often, that is). Anyway, these are some powerful images. I'd like to see some originals, up close some time. You've always seemed to have a very natural proficiency with etching, and it really shows here. Good to see what you're up to. I can't wait to see the installation. Where will it be exhibited?

hi Matt... thanks for the kind words.

.. 3 of the four installations ["Patchwork", "Openings", & "Anemone"]will be shown/exhibited in Montpelier, VT [VCFA Galleries] the week of Feb. 1st-Feb. 7th. The 4th installation ["bed"] is too large to have shipped... so I will be placing it in a specific outdoor location and shooting photos. All 4 projects have been related to one large exploration of the concept of victimization and how it relates to sexual identity, gender roles, and power relationships. I found the processes of video have fed my enthusiasm for printmaking; leading me in directions of abstraction and image play. It has also led me to seek signifying objects to physically manipulate in relation to the two dimensional imagery.

I enjoyed seeing your work in the Senior Exhibition -Congrats! Hope to talk to you soon.
